Is this thing on?
As someone who has been a cook’s assistant since she was a toddler and is now dipping her pinky toe into the basics of baking, I feel like I can contribute with easy tips, recipes, and absolute failures I experience within our little friend group so that others feel more comfortable and competent in the kitchen.
I think I’d like for this blog to be a little mix of tried and true recipes + “BEST ___” rankings of various ingredients that will likely be in their own section or page.
I will try my best to list out every little ingredient and not make any assumptions about the chef knowledge of your kitchen - if you promise not to hold me to any expectations of “How much is too much butter” or ask yourself “is she aware she’s told this story before”.
Please know that I am no food stylist and my messy photos are often taken on a paper plate by a potato phone.
